Being one step ahead
Dealing with changing XML data structures in a project can be a real challenge. Especially if your information model is continuously subject to change and you need to be able to create and read XML files based on this with FME. In this webinar we will explain how we dealt with this, demonstrate the workspace created using FME 2018.1 and compare the possibilities in FME 2020 based on new features implemented for handling XML files.
Invitation to our Spatial Insight Knowledge webinar
We would like to invite you to our knowledge webinar ‘Read/Write XML Dynamically with FME‘, on November 9th from 17:30 – 18:30 CET.
Which topics will be discussed?
During this Spatial Insight knowledge webinar we will discuss how to use FME when handling XML files with a continuously changing schema, without changing the workspace itself. We will discuss our approach and demonstrate our solution with a walk-through of the workspace we created. The current process was created using FME 2018.1, however with FME 2020 new possibilities have been implemented for XML files, so of course we will take a quick look at the differences and new possibilities.
Consultants, Developers and Architects dealing with creating or reading XML files.
What’s in it for you?
After this session you know how to go about creating a workspace which can deal with a changing schema when reading or writing XML files with FME. You have the opportunity to learn from and ask questions to people who have hands-on experience with FME, XML readers and writers.
- Provide an approach and a solution for handling the change in XML data structures;
- Have a better understanding of the XML handling features available in FME 2018.1 and FME 2020.
